Hopefully I will be able to blog a it more in the near future since I graduated yesterday!! :) And it's also a reason for today's post actually, because I really needed to reward myself so I went shopping and since I need a new liquid eyeliner anyway, I decided to get this one and try this "inovative silicone applicator".
Tbh, it's not that great in my opinion, I got way too used to the ones with a soft tip, I'm struggling a little with this one, but I'll get used to it soon.

Now if I compare it with the liquid eyeliner from Essence's regular line, this one does't seem to make that plasticky thing on your eyelid, which is good enough for me to like it.

I didn't ike any other items from this LE sadly. I walked walk into a store with some money I've decided to spend and then I could't spend it...it makes me feel very unusal....it's too contradictory.

This LE caught me by surprise to be honest. I felt Nauti Girl barely came out when this one was already in the stores. So I went slightly over the budget this month again, it's not like it's a rare occurance.

I'll buy the blush and nothing more! Right...

My bf came to visit me and I quickly took the opportunity to order some cosmetics items from Gmarket. Mizon was just having a 50% off, so I bought some of their products. 

So 3 days ago, just as I felt that the day was turning into a bad day, I decided I needed some make up as a quick fix :P
And I noticed Essence's new LE, probably fresh on the shelves as all the products were still there (the perks of shopping early in the day). Let's be honest, all the item caught my eye, it's so pretty and pastel and springy and it just boosts your mood!

First of all, buying this lipstick was a real pain in the B, but well worth it. Why was it a pain in the behind? Well my skin is really pale and I always felt orange would look off on me, so I stayed away from it even though I wanted to try it for the longest time. But last summer I simply had to get it, I couldn't take it anymore so I went hunting!
I was truly worried because this lipstick was on the pricier side for me, 7 or maybe even 8€. Anyway, the packaging look really nice, being black and the silver writing on it and the lipstick is nicely pigmented and totally worth the money unless you're looking for something that lasts more than just a few hours.



I wish this lipstick also had a fun name but instead there's just a number...oh well. First thing I'd like to say is these photos don't do justice to this gorgeous shade of orange okay, the coverage is much better than in the photos. I think orange is a difficult lip color to buy and I was quite lucky to get this one on first try, I mean orange is not a really common shade. But as I said, perfect shade and while it's supposed to be X-treme last and Shine it's neither one or the other (luckily). The shape of the lipstick itself is also very interesting and it makes for an easier and more precise application for those who don't use a lip brush. Also on the dryer side so dab on that lipbalm!

Whenever I walk into a store, first thing I do is check Essence's stand, whether is it their LE or just nail polishes, that's where you just might find me. Their products are inexpensive and the quality is good.

So for start, a few words on my general impression  on these two lipsticks.
The product comes in a matt black packaging and it gives this pricey look to the lipstick, even though it's dirt cheap and even though it's dirt cheap it's nicely pigmented. But there's something which might be important to some; these were supposed to be longlasting, but they're really not.
Good thing it' not something I expect from any lipstick so it's not a big problem for me. This line is also matt, so nothing shiny with shimmer, BIG LIKE and they're quite pigmented as I already said...all this for this price? I mean, they're basically free! The only downside is, well, make sure you carry your lip balm with you, I usually need some help during the day. They're not drying but unless you're lips are in top condition you might need to dab it one once or twice.

Essence Longlasting Lipstick in #14 Adorable Matt


I bought this one as soon as this line hit shelves because I really wanted a nice pigmented lipstick in red. The one from Clinique I was using before was a.) 2 years old, b.) not pigmented enough. So this one does the job really nicely, but as I said, I need to dab on some lipbalm from time to time just so it doesn't start looking ugly. It can last me a good few hours when I don't eat or when I'm not pouring water down my throat, but for someone who carries lipstick in their pocket (...yeah I know...) as long as there is a reflecting surface near me I can fix (almost) anything.

Now onto the other lipstick...Essence Longlasting Lipstick in #17 I Love Cake Pop





A few months after I bought the red lipstick, I felt this need to find a nice warm pink lipstick. So I again walked to the nearest Mueller and started looking through pilles of different shades and I ended up getting this one. Cheap, pigmented and what's most important, I love the color!
When I was swatching it I already knew this was a good buy and can't wait to try it with full face makeup :)

and it's only the 9th! Man this month I've strayed off from my no "buy nothing you don't really need" plan. Well the thing is, I got a job so for a few months there will be a few spare €s in my wallet and today I really needed some shopping therapy :)
So I'll write a few words on a few more notable items......

...well not really, I'll only be comparing my Missha and Essence liquid eyeliner.

I am more of a gel liner girl myself, but my TonyMoly gel liner pretty much dried out, so until there are actually a few more products I run out of, I won't be buying it because I'd have to order it online and it's simply easier to buy more stuff at once than just one thing.
Anyway, the Missha Signature Sexy Black Eyeliner is also from my July haul and I only recently started using it because I'm starting to run out of my Essence liquid eyeliner.

At least once a week, I tell myself I need to update, but I never do, ugh.
Anyway, I spoilt myself today a little bit, even though I'm in ultra saving mode atm, due to my China trip in February, but buying myself something small every two months or so isn't such a big deal, right! :)
